Human-Computer Interaction

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is the research domain in which all aspects of interaction between a human user and a computer-based system are investigated. The HCI research in EDM combines technical ICT expertise with thorough attention for the human user through Multi-modal Interaction Paradigms and User-Centered Systems Development.

End-users benefit directly from the investigated Multi-modal Interaction Paradigms, whereas the work of developers is supported by the research results with regard to development technologies, and more general User-Centered Systems Development.
